Manufactured treatment units
Where space is limited manufactured units can be installed.
The simplest unit is a septic tank with properly laid land-drains.
Where ground conditions will not accept the volume of liquor generated a treatment unit, run by electricity, can be installed to treat the effluent before it is discharged into a stream or ditch.
W.C.I. have developed the Versitile Submerged Media Treatment Unit, an improved form of high performance aerated filter. As there are no electrical or mechanical parts below the cover this unit is low maintenance.
The V.S.M. is a flexible unit which can be installed in difficult situations. It can be designed to meet your individual requirements.
Consideration is always given to incorporating exsiting structures into new schemes. This may reduce space requirements and result in cost savings.
